REACH, the acronym for Reaching and Evangelizing Asia for
Christ, is the evangelistic arm of Asia-Pacific Missions & Evangelism
Network, Inc (AMEN). It aims to evangelize the unreached in the Continent of Asia and
Beyond through the sending and supporting of missionaries from the Philippines,
both traditional and tentmaking missionaries, to work
among the unreached, in particularly the 10-40 Window. This is carried out
by networking with the local churches of those graduated from E-SOME, as well as
missionary-sending and job
placement agencies.
Over
the next five years, REACH will aim to promote the profiles of unreached people
within and outside the Philippines to the Church in the Philippines.
The aim is to encourage the local churches to adopt these unreached
peoples for prayer, evangelism and church planting.
Currently, a number of E-SOME graduates and former students are pioneering new
works and reaching the unreached in various parts of the
Philippines. Listed below are some of them:
Ptra. Precy Garvida, a recent graduate
of the Associate Diploma Program, together with her husband, Ptr. Teddy
Garvida, has pioneered a church in Pinamalayan of Oriental Mondoro.
Ptr. Mariano Chang, another recent
graduate of the Associate Diploma Program, is pioneering a Chinese Filipino
church in Pinamalayan, Oriental Mindoro.

Ptr. Nelson Pascua graduated in 1999. In July 1999,
he pioneered a work in Barak, Umingan, Pangasinan. Currently he is
pastoring another church in Nancalabasaan, Umingan.

Sis. Mary Ann Bugtong graduated in
1997 and is involved in mountain evangelism in Labey 30 km., Tublay,
Benguet.

Ptra. Generosa Tolentino graduated in 1996.
She is from the province of Iloilo, and in December 1999 she pioneered a church in San Agustin, Bauang, La
Union.

Ptra. Annabella Sison graduated in 1996. In January
2000, she pioneered a church at her hometown in Prado, Umingan, Pangasinan, with the help of Full Gospel
Worship Center. Since then, she has graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Bible &
Theology from ICI University (USA). She is a member of AMEN
and currently serving as the Treasurer on the Board of Trustees of AMEN, as well as the
Academic Secretary of E-SOME. In June 2002, she became a full-time staff
of AMEN deployed at the head office in Umingan, Pangasinan.

Ptra. Cecilia
Inocencio, a former student, is pastoring a church in Bayombong, Nueva
Viscaya. She is also a member of AMEN, and currently serving as the Honorary
Secretary on the Board of Trustees of AMEN.

Sis. Gloria Defiesta graduated in 1996 and has started a
work in her place in Burgos, Ilocos Sur.
Ptr. Edgar Ordonio, a former student, is
now pastoring a church in San Vincente of Umingan, Pangasinan.
Sis. Avelina Garcia, another former
student, is now pastoring a UCCP church in one of the barrios of Umingan,
Pangasinan. At the same time she is also furthering her theological
studies in a seminary in Baguio City.
Besides ministering in the Philippines, some of
E-SOME graduates and former students are also serving as missionary tentmakers
in other parts of Asia and Beyond as contract workers and professionals. Below are some

We are expanding our networking and are praying for more
E-SOME graduates
and students to respond to the
call of God and be willing to go to other parts of Asia and Beyond, especially the
10-40 Window, either as traditional or tentmaking missionaries to reach the unreached for Jesus Christ.
