All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I will be with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matthew 28:18-20)

INTRODUCTION

Asia-Pacific Missions and Evangelism Network, Inc. (AMEN for short)
is a non-profit Christian missionary organization,
which is incorporated with the Securities & Exchange Commission of the Philippines
on June 16, 2000.

Its purpose is to mobilize the Filipino Church
to network with the Church of Asia
in reaching out to the Continent of Asia and Beyond
with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.

AMEN believes that the Lord is raising up legions of missionaries,
both traditional and tentmaking missionaries from the Church of Asia,
to reap the End-Time harvest
in the Continent of Asia and beyond,
and that the Philippines is one of the Asian countries chosen
to be a major launching pad in the sending out of these missionaries.

AMEN is committed to serve as a catalyst in mobilizing missionaries
from the Philippines and other Asian countries
to reach the unreached in the Continent of Asia and Beyond.

Statement of Belief

We believe in:

1.    The Bible, which consists of 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament, is divinely inspired, infallible and inerrant, and is the sole and final authority in all matters of faith and conduct (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21).

2.    One Eternal God revealed in three persons - the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit - distinguishable but indivisible (Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14).

3.    The deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, co-equal and co-eternal with God the Father, the only Savior of mankind, fully God and fully Man, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, exaltation and glorification to the right hand of the God the Father, His personal future return to earth to rule for a thousand years (John 1:1; Luke 1:26-35; John 1:14-18; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; Acts 2:22; Hebrews 4:15; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4; Acts 2:32-33; John 14:2-3; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 20:6).

4.    The person of the Holy Spirit, co-equal and co-eternal with God the Father, whose ministry include convicting the world of sin and truth, regenerating those who believe in Jesus Christ, indwells among believers, guiding them into all truth; bearing witness that believers are children of God, sanctifying believers so as to enable them to live a holy life and to conform to the image of Jesus Christ, empowering believers to be witnesses for Christ to the ends of the earth, and distributing spiritual gifts to believers for the purpose of ministering to one another and to the world (John 14-16; John 3:5-8; Romans 8:15-16, 1 Peter 1:2; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 12: 7-11).

5.    The total sinfulness of man and his inability to attain to divine righteousness, and that the only means for sinful man to be saved is through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ (Romans 3:10-13; 5:12, 18; Ephesians 2:8-9).

6.    The universality and the unity of the Church, which is the body of Christ comprising of all who have been born-again of the Holy Spirit through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 12:12-13; Galatians 3:26-29).

7.    The Great Commission, which was given to the Church by Jesus Christ, commands the Church to go into all the world and make disciples of all nations and preach the Gospel to all creation (Matthew 28:18-20; Mark 16:15).

8.    The baptism with the Holy Spirit which is given to all believers who ask for it for the purpose of fulfilling the Great Commission of evangelizing the world, and is accompanied by speaking in other tongues (Luke 11:13; Acts 1:8; 2:4).

9.    The redemptive work of Jesus Christ on the cross which includes divine healing for the human body (Matthew 8:16-17; Acts 4:30; James 5:14).

10.  The blessed hope - the rapture of the Church - which will occur at the future return of Jesus Christ (1 Thessalonians 4:17).

11.  The resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (Daniel 12:2; John 5:29; Acts 24:15).

12.  The reality and personality of the devil and eternal punishment in the lake of fire for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 20:10-15).
