EVANGELISTIC PREACHING
(3 Credits)

Course Description

This course covers the content of the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the various methods and models of challenging and inviting unbelievers to salvation, and the effective techniques of past and present evangelists.  The relationship between music and altar call, as well as guidelines for reaching children and youths with the Gospel will also be covered.  Prerequisite: Preaching Ministry.  

Course Objective

  1. To introduce the student to the importance of preaching the Gospel and the need of giving an invitation as an effective means for leading sinners to Christ.

  2. To enable the student to be effective in using evangelistic preaching in the ministry of bringing sinners to Christ.
