Objectives
of E-SOME Training Programs
The
objectives of E-SOME Training Programs are as follows:

To
encourage the student in missionary work.

To
educate the student in the Word of God.

To
establish the student with a vision and burden for missionary work.

equip the student with the knowledge of missionary work.

To
expose the student to the skill required for missionary work.

To
enlist the student as a laborer in the harvest field of the Philippines,
Asia and Beyond.

To
empower the student to reach the unreached in the Philippines, Asia and
Beyond.
Diploma
and Degree Programs
E-SOME is
currently offering the following missionary diploma and degree programs:
Prerequisite: A baptized & born-again Christian and recommended by
the candidate’s pastor.
Prerequisite: A baptized & born-again Christian and recommended by
the candidate’s pastor; completed the Associate Diploma in Missions
and Evangelism Program or Equivalent.
Prerequisite:
A baptized & born-again Christian and recommended by the candidate’s
pastor; completed the Associate and Advanced Diploma in Missions and
Evangelism Program or Equivalent.
This
Diploma Program is a compressed version of both the Associate and
Advanced Diploma Programs combined together. It is fast-track program catered for those who have at
least
10
years of active ministry in a local/para-church;
OR those who are college graduates with at least 5 years of
active ministry in a local or para-church.
This
Diploma Program is specially catered for those who are called to be
tentmakers abroad. The
modules are also taken from the Associate and Advanced Diploma Programs. In addition, there is also be a module on “The Biblical View of
Work.”
Prerequisite:
A baptized & born-again Christian and recommended by the candidate's pastor;
completed the Bachelor's Degree in Missions and Evangelism Program or
Equivalent and with at least 3 years of missionary experience.
Prerequisite:
A baptized & born-again Christian and recommended by the candidate's pastor;
possess a Bachelor's Degree in Theology or Ministry from a Bible seminary;
OR possess a college degree, completed the Accelerated
Diploma in Missions & Evangelism Program, and with at least 7 years of active ministry in a
local/para-church;
OR completed the Accelerated Diploma in Missions & Evangelism Program, with at least 15
years of active ministry in a local or para-church, including
preaching and teaching of the Word of God, of which 5 years are in senior
ministry leadership (e.g. Senior Pastor, Ministry President).

Certificate Programs
E-SOME is
also offering 13 certificate programs which are part of the Diploma and
Degree Programs (4 from the Associate Diploma Program, 4 from the Advanced
Diploma Program, 3 from the Bachelor's Degree Program, and 2 from the Master's
Degree Program). Each certificate program consists of 3-4 modules.
The certificate programs may serve as intermediate goals for the
completion of the Diploma or Degree Programs.
Nature of
Training Programs
The
Certificate, Diploma and Degree Programs offered by E-SOME are:

Systematic
in structure.

Modular
in format (i.e. they can be taken as individual modules, or certificate,
diploma or degree levels.)

Extensive
in covering all major aspects of missionary training.

Inspirational,
instructional and informational.

Practical
in emphasis.

Flexible
in nature and is available on a full-time and part-time basis, as well
as through self-studying mode.

Suitable
for both Pentecostals and Evangelicals.

Available
to students at a very minimal cost.

Academically
equivalent to college level
Enrollment
E-SOME
adopts a modular approach for enrollment.
Candidates, who satisfy the prerequisite, can enroll for any of the
course modules without required to complete a certificate program, or enroll
a certificate program without required to complete a diploma program. However, E-SOME encourages its students to complete as many
certificate programs as possible so as be able to graduate with an Associate
or Advanced Diploma. Note that prerequisites are required for certain
modules.
Study
Mode
Students
can choose to study either at one of the extension centers of E-SOME or
through self-studies. For those
who opt for the second choice, they will need their church pastor to
supervise their practicum and field trip.
Academic
Standard
The
School offers all its course modules at college level.
Academic
Assessment
Academic
assessment is carried out through attendance, examinations, assignments,
projects, practicum and field trips.
Time Limit
There
is no time limit for completing the various course modules, certificate and
diploma programs.
Credit
System
Each
credit of the course module represents 15 hours of classroom instruction,
including examinations, and another 15-30 hours of study outside the
classroom, including assignments, projects, practicum and field trips.
Grading
Scale
The
school course modules are graded according to the following numerical scale:
