Course
Description
The shortage of effective leaders in the Christian community has become very
alarming. In this course, the
student will examine the New Testament approach to Christian leadership as
practiced by Jesus Christ and the early church, as well as the principles of
Christian mentoring and biblical management.
The student will also learn how to be an effective ministry leader by first be
a model for others to imitate, then a multiplier of self by becoming a caring
and committed mentor to followers, and finally an efficient manager of
an organized church and ministry.
Course Objective
To acquaint the student with the principles of New Testament leadership, Christian mentoring and biblical management for effective leadership in both the church and ministry.
To enable the student to become an effective leader by being a model,
mentor and motivator, multiplier and mobilizer, as well as an efficient manager
of ministries.
