BIBLE DOCTRINE II
(3 Credits)

Course Description

This course continues from Bible Doctrine I.  It introduces to the student the doctrine of man (Anthropology), the doctrine of sin (Hamartialogy), the doctrine of salvation (Soteriology), and the doctrine of angels (Angelology).  All these doctrines are foundational in both Christian ministry and missions.  Prerequisite: Bible Doctrine I.

Course Objective

  1. To acquaint the student with the doctrine of man, sin, salvation and angels.

  2. To establish a biblical foundation of Christian doctrine in the student's life.

  Lesson 2: The First Temptation & the Fall of Man
  Lesson 3: The Sinful Nature of Man

The Doctrine of Sin
  Lesson 4: The Fact, Denial & Definition of Sin
  Lesson 5: The Origin, Nature & Consequences of Sin
   

Part 3

The Doctrine of Salvation
  Lesson 6: The Background and Basis of Salvation
  Lesson 7: Repentance & Faith
  Lesson 8: Regeneration & Adoption
  Lesson 9: Justification, Sanctification & Glorification
  Lesson 10: Love to God, Christ & Man
  Lesson 11: The Final Destiny of Man
   

Part 4

The Doctrine of Angels
  Lesson 12: The Origin, Nature, Fall & Classification of Angels
  Lesson 13: The Work & Destiny of Angels
